I found these tired looking bread rolls in the freezer on day 8. I grated them up an put half of them into a meatloaf along with some dried fried onions I found in a jar in the cupboard.

I will use the rest of breadcrumbs in something else down the line. They can be re-frozen. I also need to use up the onions - maybe in a load of bread to make onion bread?

Yesterday's vegetable stock from veg trimmings was strained, and used in a soup made with the leftover chicken casserole from earlier in the week, and some cooked beans and tomatoes. i picked out the inedibles from the vegetable peels (stalks etc) and blended the rest and added to the soup as a thickener. It was delicious!
