Day 25 - Bread with Extras - and More Marmalade

On Day 25, I made a 50/50 wholemeal/white loaf in the bread maker, but I threw in the last few tablespoons of cornmeal from a jar (so I could empty the new packet in the jar, which also needs using - I feel some polenta coming on!) and instead of plain water, I used the cooking water from some beans I cooked in the pressure cooker. Adds extra protein and nutrients.


The bread was good, very good.



I also made some more marmalade, this time clementine marmakade from clementine peels. i haven't labelled it yet, but it has turned out a very pleasing glowing orange colour.
