This site was set up for me by my two sons, for me to share my recipes for their favourite dishes. I have always found this hard as I cook on the hoof, rarely measuring ingredients, often adapting recipes to suit what's available, and never normally write recipes down.

In addition to sharing recipes, I hope to share hints and tips on preparing tasty meals quickly, easily and cheaply.

WELCOME TO CAROLE'S CUPBOARD

I've been making home cooked meals for my husband and my two boys for over 25 years. For as long as I can remember I have frustrated them by never writing any of my recipes down and measuring by eye, so together they have created this blog in the hope that I will actually write some of them down, and in the process share them with everyone else!
